November 2-5: 

Items to note:

-We will be having our parent teacher conferences on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

-Students do not have classes on Friday due to our parent teacher conferences. 

-You should receive an email today with your google hangout meeting link for our upcoming parent teacher conferences. If you do not receive this email with the meeting link please let me know. I also have each meeting scheduled in our classroom calendar with the necessary meeting link which can be accessed through your child's google classroom. 

Our learning:

Science - we will be starting our new science unit on evidence and investigation. This week we will be exploring physical evidence through footprints as well as making observations and inferences. 

Social - we will be starting our new social unit on ancient Athens and the role of Athenian democracy in forming our current day democracy in Canada.   

Writing - we will be working on our expository writing piece on what if you had animal teeth. 

Math - we will continue to explore and further our understanding on multiples and factors.
