Today we met with Mayor DiManno who supported our learning on municipal government by sharing with us details about her role as mayor and formerly Town Councillor. She also shared information about the organization of Banff´s municipal government along with how as grade 6 students we could participate in democracy with our municipal government. Students also had the chance to ask her questions such as what are the challenges of being Mayor. We are grateful for the Mayor´s time.
