Our Learning for the week of November 30 - December 4:

Items to note:

-Friday is a half day.

-If your child will be requiring a Chrome book for our online learning on Jan.4-8 please fill out the form sent home last Friday or take a photo of the signed form and send the photo to me via email. I will fill in the serial number on the form once returned. 

- Please have your child bring in a shoe box to support a project for our Evidence and Investigation science learning that will be starting most likely on Wednesday.

-Social unit test on Wednesday.

Our learning:

Social - we will be presenting our ancient Athens interactive poster on Monday and will write our unit test on Wednesday. 

Math - we will be starting our new math learning on operations. Students learning outcomes will focus on multiplying and dividing decimals as well as applying the order of operations when solving questions. 

Science - we will be examining the differences between handwriting and then using our observation skills to match handwriting samples. 

Writing - we will continue to use wordless books to support our writing with this week's learning focusing on sentence structure and voice. 

Thought book - we will be working on orders of operations which matches our learning in math this week.
