Reminders:

Friday is a half day as teachers will be participating in professional

development.

On Wednesday we will be participating in our curling bonspiel from

10 am - 11:45 am. 

On Tuesday we will be writing our math chapter 4 unit test. 

Our school is participating in a food bank drive. Thank you to those families

that have already contributed to this food bank drive. Classes are asked to

collect items and then build a sculpture with the items. The following is a list

of items we are trying to collect:

Nov.25 - sealed peanut butter

Nov.26 - cereal

Nov.27- canned vegetables

Nov.28 - diapers

Nov.29 - canned beans

Dec.2 - tissue boxes

Dec.3 - canned soup

Dec.4 - canned fruit

Dec.5 - pasta sauce

Math - we will be wrapping up our learning on multiples and factors with a unit

test on Tuesday. We will be starting our new unit on fractions on Wednesday. 

Writing - we will be starting a new unit of study on wordless books. Focusing

again on figures of speech, showing versus telling, voice and story organization

all through wordless books. Our learning will be concluded by students creating

their own wordless book. 

Science - we will continue to research and learn about planets. 

Social - we will be working on our Ancient Athens model which will be a summary

display of our understanding.
