Nov.18-22

Reminders:

We will be going curling Nov.18,20, 25 and 27. Please dress warmly as we

will be walking to the arena. 

Math - we will be continuing on with our success in working with multiples

and factors. 

Science - we will be continuing to learn about the phases of the moon as

well as beginning to learn about planets.

Social - we will continue to research and learn about the roots of our democracy

coming from Ancient Athens. Comparing differences and similarities to our

democracy in Canada. 

Writing - we will continue and finish up our research and assignment on

what if we had animal teeth.

Reading - we have started using a program called; Strategies To Achieve

Reading Success where last week we worked on pre-reading strategies of

highlighting the first and last sentence of a paragraph to determine main

idea as well as highlighting key words in the multiple choice questions prior to

actually reading the passage.
