Reminders:

We will be having our chapter 2 math test on Wednesday.  

Friday is a half day. 

Our school is closed on October 14 for Thanksgiving. 

Math - we will be wrapping up our learning on equations this week followed
by a test on Wednesday to highlight our learning and understanding. We
will then be working through released Provincial Achievement Exam questions
on Patterns and Relationships. 

Writing - this week we will be exploring the book “Voices of the Wild” and will
use this as an example of figurative writing. We will be taking a skeleton of the
writing and adding our own details using our writing toolbox and adding
figures of speech. 

Social - this week we will be finalizing our research on our candidate and
practicing our presentation to the class.

Science - we are nearing the end of our learning on Trees and Forests and
will be discussing current versus historical uses of forests.
