Sept.16-20

We have our first test this week!

Reminders for the week:

• We have the grand opening of our school assembly on Sept.16 

at 2 pm

• We have a math test on Tuesday morning

Math - in math this week we will be having a test for our patterns and 

relationships unit on Tuesday. We will then start our new unit on solving 

equations where we will need to determine the missing variables. 

Writing - we will continue to write with openers and this week use clausal 

openers such as, although. 

Social - we will continue to explore our Charter of Rights and

 Freedom as well as follow the campaign of the different federal election 

candidates.

Science - we will continue to learn about the importance of trees and

 forests along with the nutrient and water cycle.
