Our Learning June 14-18:

Items to note:

-Friday is a full day

- We will be writing our chapter 12 unit test on Tuesday

Our Learning:

Math - we will be reviewing our learning on collecting and displaying data with a test scheduled for Tuesday. We will then begin our final unit of the year on demonstrating an understanding of probability. 

Writing - we will begin to research our animals for our Who Would Win assignment. 

Social - we will be wrapping up our learning on making a just and fair Canada with a focus on Aboriginal Rights.  

Science - we will continue to explore how we can make adaptations to our paper airplane to create the movements of roll, yaw and pitch. We will also try making styrofoam gliders that will incorporate these three movements as well. 

Thought book - we will be trying to define the word perspective with the challenge of using a 15 word phrase to just a one word definition. Analyzing and evaluating differing perspectives has been a common theme in our social studies learning this year.
