Our Learning February 7-11:

Items to note:

-Friday is a half day

-We will be writing our chapter 8 math test on Tuesday

Our learning:

Science - we will be presenting our learning on space technologies to the class along with learning about NASA spin offs from the voyage to the moon. 

Social - we will be working on our final project for our Iroquois Confederacy learning. 

Literacy - we will be working on a new story that students will try to independently write without one on one conferencing after each event with me. 

Math - we will be writing our chapter unit test on Tuesday and then we will be working through released Provincial Achievement Exam questions on the curricular number strand outcomes. 

Thoughtbook - we will be working through a What's the GIST activity for the curricular vocabulary - collective identity. Students will need to rephrase the definition with fewer words each day.  

Weekly homework - we will be working through a dividing decimals by whole numbers assignment this week.
