February 12-16:

This week we welcome Stephanie Kish, a practicum student

from the University of Alberta, into our classroom. She will

be teaching and supporting our students until the beginning

of May.

We will have our flight unit test for science on Wednesday.

Our next science unit will be on Sky Science.

In math we will be starting a new unit on ratios and percents.

Our math test from last week will be sent home.

In writing we have finished our first story focusing on character

development and will now start a new story after we learn

about developing our story’s setting.

We have two assemblies this week - on Wednesday at 1 pm and

on Friday at 10:45 am. Everyone is welcome to join us as we

celebrate the learning in our school.
