November 13-17

This week we will be presenting at our school assembly on November 16 at 9:15 am. Students will be reading their Remembrance Day poetic writing. Please join us if you are able to.

In science will be conducting an experiment to prove that air exerts pressure. We will also begin designing our own experiment which will need to focus on one of the three properties of air. This will be due on November 22.

Our math learning continues to explore large numbers and will involve rounding and decimals this week. If you would like to practise place values at home there are a few great sites listed in the resource section of this blog.

In writing we will work through the editing process with our Remembrance Day poetic writing and then explore styles of poems.
